New area for sisters, temple trip, lots of work to do!!!

Heavenly Father is SO cool. :) AHHHH!!! I have like a bajillion things to tell you!!! So I'm in Portsmouth now!! (Port-smith gotta make sure you say it right) But just listen to how perfect this all is... let me just give you a quick list of why it's so amazing :)
So my companion is Sister Fuller ... guess who trained sister fuller?? the one and only sister Huefner!!! :D so yeah she's awesome :) and we are opening the area to sisters!!! :D The ward is so great and so excited to have us! Sisters haven't been here for seven years!! Our area is so pretty and we are right on the coast and we get to go to the beach!! We are right by downtown portsmouth so there are a bunch of cute little stores and tons of people! Street contacting!!! There's stores! like every store imaginable. We don't live in the boonies! It's pretty crazy going from just hannaford to now we have a walmart and a target and a mall... oh manny it's too good to be true! and there are so many ice cream shops!! :D ahhh! i'm in heaven... :) haha and we are in the boundaries to go to the temple!!! We are allowed to go once every six months so guess what we did today?? yup! we went to the temple!!! AHHHH!!! :D it was amazing!!! :) and we have the best district ever! and the best sister training leaders! Guess who?? Sister Sowards!!! AHHH :D my mom is my sister training leader!! how cool is that?! and then the other one is sister brown and sister fuller trained her!! and sister fuller has been companions with sister sowards!!! :) so it's just super awesome! and then in our district our district leader is elder jensen and one of our zone leaders is elder lund and when i was with sister sowards in topsham they were companions!!! so we have the coolest district :)

Portsmouth is in New Hampshire! But we actually live in Kittery which is in Maine! :D So that's pretty awesome :) I just love Maine :) and i'm still on the coast!!! :) So we cover like 7 different cities?? (still trying to figure it all out...haha but yeah that sounds about right) there's some in Maine and some in New Hampshire! So I had no idea that I was going to be shotgunning! When they called us for transfer calls all they told me was that I was leaving! So anyways... last monday...which feels like forever ago... I packed all morning - sister welch is a professional packer and worked miracles to fit all of my stuff! :) who knew you could use garbage bags as space bags! it was awesome :) and then we went to the post office, then the library, then we went to the Hovances and then we went to the Royers and the elders came over and we played Phase 10 for the last bit of pday and then we had dinner and coordination!! :) It was so much fun! :) Then we went home, finished up packing and finally went to bed! then woke up at 4, got ready, got everything packed into our car, said see ya later to sister brooks and then headed to augusta! We met at the chapel there and a bunch of other missionaries were there switching or getting in other member rides to head to transfer meeting! I went with the oxford ride and headed to Manchester! So we got there a little late cuz we had to stop in Saco to drop off a sister and pick up another one to take to manchester but it worked out :) We went and sat down and listened to president and sister stoker and then the assistants announced transfers!!!!!! :D I was sitting with sister jackman and sister bergeson right behind sister fuller and her companion sister cotant... and we were talking to them before they announced everything and sister fuller told us she was shotgunning! :O and then they get to the Exeter zone and announce "Sister fuller will be opening Portsmouth 1 with Sister Tait!!!" what?!??!?! hahaha :D so awesome! ahhhhh!!! and then I got to see sister huefner and we all took pictures together and then we went and found our member ride! oh and then elders handed us the phone and their planners and that was it! we were off! :D sister keele and two of her little girls were there to take us to Kittery! she was so awesome! She took us all around the town and showed us where all the outlets where and other stores!! :D then we got to our apartment and basically just started to clean the place... uhhhh yeah it was a little gross... gotta love taking over an apartment that elders have been living in for decades... :P so we did a little bit of cleaning and then went and walked across the bridge into portsmouth! we just went and looked around and then got pizza for dinner since we have no food! haha :) then Mary a recent convert came and picked us up and went teaching with us! We taught Amadou who is from Africa! He is awesome! We pretty much just got to know him and we're gonna be starting back at square one with him next time! the elders just gave him a french book of mormon cuz he understands french better and said he's so excited to read it!

Wednesday morning Marsha and Helmar came and picked us up and we went to Footprints the food pantry! They are volunteers there and they are just so wonderful! We pretty much spent all day with them!! The food pantry was so much fun!!! and after that we went to their house for a bit! then we went with them to an old folks home and we called bingo!! :D haha that was super fun!! and then we walked home with Marsha and then the elders came and picked us up and we went to coordination! oh yeah..we're in a car share... so that's good...we have to walk a lot so i can eat more ice cream ;) haha! Our ward mission leader brother hafen is so awesome!!!

Thursday we had district meeting!!!!!!!!!!! :D it was so much fun!!!!!!!!!!!! I just love our district!! party every week!!! :) and then we got the car after that! we went home and did a little more organizing/going through the area book and stuff and then we went to the keeles for dinner!! :) then came home and went over the ward list and stuff!

Friday we did weekly planning! then we had lunch then went and saw Robert our other investigator!! He's great and loves the book of mormon! he's an eternigator actually and really wants to get baptized but just can't quit smoking :( so we're hoping to help him with that! Then we went and got our oil changed and walked around and did some store contacting :) and then we went and saw some less actives and then went to see the relief society president Sister Reeve and caught them right at dinner time.. oops.. haha so of course they welcomed us right in and were so excited to see us and fed us dinner and dessert and then took us around to see the ocean!!! :D ahhhh!! love it!!!

Saturday we went and read the book of mormon with some less actives the mondors and then we went to portsmouth and saw some less actives and active members! we did some walking around downtown portsmouth too and then went to a wedding reception for someone in the ward!! that was super awesome!!! So much fun! it was really cool cuz they had food from all of the places that the kids had served and then copies of the book of mormon in different languages with an english one with a bow tied together for the favors! :) such good missionaries :) so we had a goal to give out 10 mormon.org cards...well a challenge from the stl's actually... and we hadn't done it yet... we had six more to go... so we started sticking them in the book of mormons! haha :) we got to meet a lot of the members there! Mary is so hilarious and would stop everyone and bring them over to meet us!! haha she's so awesome :) and then thanks to her we went home and we both had packages from our moms!!! :D yay!!! :)

Sunday was good! we went to ward council and then church at 9! We got to bear our testimonies in sacrament meeting and met so many more members!! :) and i went to relief society for the first time in forever!! it was weird!! haha :) i miss primary!! haha but it was good :) and then we went and saw some less actives and then had dinner with the Hafens!!! It's been a pretty awesome week!!!! We've got lots of work to do!!!!

and today has been awesome!! went to the temple with sister hafen and then got to see a little bit of boston!!!!!!! :D oh my goodness!! what a perfect day!!!!!!!!!!!! :D I love you all soooooo much!!!!!!!!!! Hope you have a wonderful day!!! :)

Transfer calls...see ya later, so hard to leave, new adventures ahead...

Hmmmmm..... well I've just got so much to say today!!!! haha... i'm gonna type as fast as I can but I probably won't get it all out today.... lots of mixed emotions today :/ :P :D :( :O :) ;( :) yup...it was transfer calls.... and looks like this is my last day to email from good old Waldoboro... I'm getting transferred and headed off to who knows where tomorrow!! But it'll be another adventure with more amazing people and more learning and growing and craziness! :) It's been a pretty crazy transfer! I really can't believe that it's been six weeks already... so weird. But it really has been a grandspacular week! a great end of the transfer!! So i guess i should tell you all about it!!!!

Monday was so great! The sun was shining all day so after emails we went back to the royers, wrote letters out on the deck and just basked in the sun :D ahhhhh! :) and then the elders came over and we had dinner and coordination meeting and then we had smores!!!!! :D so fun :)

Tuesday we had a lesson with Linda and Arnez and we went over the gospel principles book chapter 11 about the life of Christ! It was really good and Tom was even there! :) then we helped them plant some flowers in their yard :) and then we went to Melanie's and we cut down some trees, raked leaves, and did other yard work! We talked to her about the plan of salvation and a little about the gospel of Jesus Christ! Then we went home and sister brooks was working on the porch and then she said we could paint the mailbox! :D So she gave us the paint.. oh yeah.. that nice john deere yellow! it looks like a school bus... haha we didn't know but we're pretty sure it was vehicle paint... it wouldn't come out of the paint brushes... hahaha! and then we got to decorate it all cute :) it was so fun! then we went to the Smiths and played "don't eat pete" and talked about feasting on the words of Christ and how the scriptures can help us in our lives! :)

Wednesday we had district meeting in Damariscotta! The lesson was teaching in unity with your companion part 2! So each companionship had to prepare something to teach the district... guess what we did... that's right... we taught them how to hula hoop :) haha that was pretty entertaining :) they others taught how to tie knots, a magic trick, how to change a light bulb... hahaha it was great :) then we had district lunch! we went to a little deli place on main street in Damariscotta and got sandwiches and then ice cream!!!!!! :D it was was just wonderful :) and then took a cute district picture by the ocean :) then we went and had mormon.org time! and then we went and saw Sister Russell! We read the Book of Mormon with her so that was fun as always! then we were going to go see sister gove and we were driving down sister russell's driveway and we look over and see two horses in the middle of the road!!!!!! :O haha! so we parked the car right there, got out and went over to them... we weren't quite sure what we were gonna do...well rescue them of course but we didn't know where they belonged! haha so we got them over to a grassy area next to the house we guessed was theirs and they were eating the grass and then we walked around the house and found a fence that was open.... so we're just standing there... wondering what we're gonna do... oh yeah we knocked on the door but no one answered... so then we're just standing there taking pics of the horses and petting them... haha and then miracle!!! a cop drives by! so sister welch waves them down... they thought they were just our horses and we were out playing with them... right...in our skirts...logical! haha ;) but then they took the horses through to the other fence and then we thanked them and left and they said they'd talk to the lady... anyways... it was pretty crazy.. we really wanted to be able to talk to the lady and she came out and yelled thank you when we were to our car... but we didn't turn back and go give her a book of mormon or anything.. i know. what were we thinking!!?!?? clearly we weren't... so the next day we went back!!! We prayed for forgiveness and asked for another opportunity to talk to her! So we went to her house and she was outside! we talked to her for a bit, her name is penny and she knows sister russell and sister benner :) she was so grateful for us for saving her horses :) and we gave her a mormon.org card and said to call us anytime :) it was awesome :)  we saw sister gove and then went with the youth and did service at some less actives house doing yard work!!!

Thursday we went and had a lesson with just Arnez! linda was at the doctors and then we went to the food pantry!!! :) then after that is when we went and saw the horse lady penny! and then we went and had dinner and then had book of mormon class with the elders and sister doyle! It was an interesting one... but good... we read 1 Nephi 3!!! :)

Friday we were just doing weekly planning...then we got the news that transfer calls would be that night... so we were freaking out...ate some ice cream and worked on our awesome game.... oh here's a the jist of transfer calls..

so on the last saturday of the transfer so week 6... we get transfer calls... so friday we're sitting around doing our weekly planning just wishing we knew what was gonna happen..and then we get a voicemail from the assistants and i jokingly said watch transfer calls are gonna be tonight... and they say "transfer calls are going to be tonight..." WHAT?!?!?! oh manny.... so then of course we're freaking out and can't focus the rest of the day... (it had to be friday cuz saturday the concord zone was having stake conf) so we went to the dyers and we tried to keep our minds off of it! then we were going home and we looked at our phone and we had a missed call from Assistant 2... at 8:14!!! what the heck!!! i thought it started at 9:00.... so we're driving home.. calling the elders, and the other elders and sisters in our district... hearing about who got calls.. (elder shupe, elder whitehead and elder hudson are all getting transferred) and then we were just driving home...being patient...running through all the possibilities of what was gonna happen..... so we get home... called the assistants back and they gave us the news! sister welch is staying and sister tait you're being transferred......." :O :( :( :( so then we called everyone and told them the news... :( then saturday the zone leaders give us a call and that's when they tell us our travel plans! So they said that we are going to drive our car to the Augusta chapel and arrive at 6:40 tomorrow morning and then sister welch's companion will get out of the oxford car and sister tait will get in the oxford ride and go to manchester to transfer meeting!!! so pretty much then we had it all figured out that sister may would be coming to damariscotta! and then when we talked to the sister training leaders it was confirmed... so sister may is coming here! and I don't know where in the world (well mission so just where in new england...) i'm going!!! so tomorrow i'll know...but you'll have to wait til next monday...!!! :O

so we went to the dyers for dinner and then walked to the pond again and took lots of pictures! then sunday we went to church and it was branch council!!! Us and the elders sang "Called To Serve" and it was so awesome :) and with the third verse!!! :) "Called to serve the people of new england, with the gospel of our loving God, teaching preaching unto true repentance, holding to the iron rod..." :D ahhhh! it was just great and then President Quinlan asked me to bear my testimony!! and then we had gospel principles and then primary!! ahhh!! i just love the Damariscotta branch!! :) then it was linger longer!!! so that was wicked fun :) and then we went and did some see ya laters!!! so hard :( but it's okay!!! remember!!! it's not goodbye, just see ya later :) sooooo!!! this is the worst. i hate packing and i hate see ya laters... but! it's gonna be good! new adventures and more people to love!!!! :) <3 hope you all have a great week!!! love you lots!!! :)

Such a great week!!, facetime, teaching primary, love the great people here!!, expect miracles...

Well...I'm pretty sure I've said this a million times so sorry if you're sick of hearing it...but I have thee best family in the whole entire world!!!! :D ahhhhhhh!!!!!! I guess I'm starting the week backwards...haha whatever... but yesterday was wicked awesome!!! :D It was pretty much the perfect day! We went to church and I played the piano for the primary kids and for the young women to sing in sacrament meeting and then we got to teach one of the primary classes! We played the ever famous Book of Mormon Go Fish! and then had the genius idea to play mother may I? since it was mother's day of course!! :D haha...we had a lot of fun :) and then sharing time i played the piano and then we made cookie flower pots for our moms!!!! :) After church we drove to the Dyers house! windows down, music blasting, 75 degrees... ahhhh! :) we got there and had pizza and hung out until sister welch skyped her family at 2:30!! so while she did that I played with Carson the 2 year old and we played go fish and took lots of pictures :) I was teaching him how to use my camera and it was the cutest thing ever! :) so we had lots of fun :) then we had ice cream and then played life and some other games with the other kids and sister welch! then at 6 I got to facetime!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D it was just so wonderful :) ahhh!! fastest hour ever though!! but it was still wicked awesome :) Then after that we had a nice turkey dinner with the Dyers and then the youngest kids had to go to bed but Owen and Aspen took Sister welch and I on a walk and we went to a little lake/pond down the road a bit! It was a fun adventure! tried to not get attacked by black flies :P and then we came back and Brother Dyer made ice cream for us :) haha so we ate more ice cream and then we went home! such a good day :) I hope you all had a very happy mothers day!!! oh!!! if you haven't been on lds.org lately you should.... go watch this new video about moms!!! :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQ4TPn8hjxI oh look at that! easy as that you can just click on this!...i think... haha :) if this doesn't work just go to lds.org and it's on the homepage :)

So back to monday...(last monday) we did all the usual pday stuff! then we went to Damariscotta and after grocery shopping we went to main street and did some mother's day shopping! :D found what we wanted and then we got subway and went to the church to eat there and wait til coordination! Brother and Sister Royer weren't able tot make it but we decided we would still have it with the elders! So when we got to the church guess who was there already?? the elders! haha they were playing basketball so of course we joined! :D haha then we ate cake and had coordination meeting!

Tuesday! We had a lesson with linda and arnez and read from the gospel principles book about baptism!!! Linda was saying how she just wishes time would speed up!! She wishes her baptism was yesterday! She is so ready and so excited!!!! Arnez is still struggling with smoking...she wants to quit so bad! She'll get there! Time is a tickin! and she knows it! We went and did service for Melanie! Raked leaves and helped her with her lawn sale! :) then we had chips and guacamole since it was cinco de mayo! :) Then we had dinner then went to the Smiths! We played Book of Mormon go fish, memory and old maid with them!!! They loved it!! and then we went to the Goldrups and we were going to heart attack them... but then they were home and saw us... oops..haha so we just went in and talked to Katie and her dad for a little bit :)

Wednesday we did not have district meeting because we had zone meeting this week! So instead we went to the Creamers! and guess what they were home!!! :) So we got to go inside and just talk and get to know them better! Shared a scripture with them and they said we could come back anytime! I think they just like the company...don't really want to learn about the gospel...just like every mainer though they are quite the talkers....you could get stuck in there talking and talking forever...haha...we'll get more of the gospel in and they will have a change of heart and come to church...someday..it'll happen :) then we had lunch, then went and read the book of mormon with sister russell! Then we went to cove's edge and saw Sister Gove! Then we had dinner at the church and then Book of Mormon class! Sister Doyle came and we read 1 Nephi 2!!! So good :) Elder Stallings shared a cool acronym about prayer...  Acommandment  Mean it  Expect an answer  (k)Neel  So that was awesome! We talked a lot about prayer and how we need to be like Nephi and pray and mean it and listen and wait for the answer. Nephi like his brothers also questioned what his father was saying but he didn't murmur about it, he prayed about it! 1 Nephi 2:16-19  He received an answer and the Lord blessed him with comfort! :)

Thursday we had a great lesson with Linda and Arnez! We read 1Nephi 7!! Another great chapter and I love Nephi's example and how he prays for strength! This is when Nephi's brothers tie him up and 1 Nephi 7:17 what does Nephi do? He prays! But he doesn't pray that his circumstances will be changed, but for strength to change his circumstances! I love this! I know that this is what we need to do, even in the hardest times that Heavenly Father will lift us up and through the enabling power of the Atonement of Jesus Christ we can have the strength to make it through anything. Nephi was blessed to have persistence and to have strength and with the strength of the Lord he was able to twist and tug and was enable to break the bands. :) anyways... i just love Nephi and his great example! :) Then after that we did our weekly planning!

Friday we went to Augusta for zone meeting!! It was super good :) our zone goal is to Expect Miracles!! we are going to pray for miracles every morning and expect them!!! it works! :D So after zone meeting Bro Guisani drove us and the elders so he picked us up and on the way home we stopped at Red's Eats! He asked if we all like seafood.... of course we do........ hahha... uhhh i just kinda went along with it...didn't say anything...sister welch and elder stallings said they love lobster and elder daniels hadn't had it yet! so we get there and he orders 5 lobster rolls! It was $90!!!! :O oh boy... so i had to eat it all... uhhh yeah look at that picture!!! that is way too much lobster! haha i did it for grandma though! haha it was her birthday and i know she loves lobster so that's the only way i could get it down! I don't think the taste is too bad...i mean come on you dip it in butter! it can't be that bad! haha but it's just way too chewy... ugh... the texture just isn't my favorite! and hot lobster is definitely better than cold... haha but i ate it!!! :P mmmmm ;) hahahaha :) then we went to the Seversons! and we shared the family proclamation with them and it was really good! Then guess what?! miracle! we said the closing prayer and then there was a knock at the door?? sister severson went and answered it and i heard a familiar voice... "is this the seversons? we're looking for our missionaries..." it was the royers!!!!!!!!!!! :D it was a miracle that they came because the seversons don't want people to come but we got them talking and hopefully we can get some member present lessons from that now :) then we went to the royers and helped them make cupcakes! :)

Saturday! we went and saw the duffys then had a lesson with linda and arnez! it was great we played go fish with them and tom and jillian! :) then their friends that they haven't seen in a while showed up and we got to meet them and linda and arnez and tom were going on and on about how they love the church and were just being great missionaries! their friends kept saying how happy they look and how they have changed so much! it was so cool!!! another miracle!!!! seeds planted!!! and i know they will keep working on them :) then we saw sister andersen and had a good visit with her :) then had dinner and wrote thank you card the rest of the night!

and i've already told you about sunday! phew! cuz i'm out of time!!!!! now we're off! back to the royers to write some letters and bask in the sun :D ahhhh!!! and then coordination tonight! :) hope you all have a great week!!! LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!! <3

So blessed, bday fun, object lesson, exchanges, teaching, so many great things...

Oh my goodness!!!!!!!! So I am pretty sure that I am thee luckiest girl in the whole wide world. seriously!!! I have the best family and friends ever!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much for making my birthday so wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you are reading this right now here is a big hug for you!!!!!!!!! xoxoxoxoxoxoxo I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!! :) ahhhhh!!! I am just so blessed! thank you thank you thank you!!! I had such a great birthday!!! and now i'm officially 20... super weird... haha! I really don't understand why time keeps going faster and faster!!! it's ridiculous!!!! anyways...
it's been a really great week! :) last monday after emails we had district pday! So we drove with the elders to Augusta and when we got to there no one else in the district was there yet! so we did the only logical thing... we went and got ice cream!! :D haha :) and then the rest of the district showed up and we went to a park and we played ultimate frisbee!! It was so much fun!!! :) we did that for a few hours and then on our way home we stopped and had dinner at arby's! and then we kinda took another detour before actually going home and we went to the lighthouse!! again...! :D haha! this time it was too dark to get good pictures...but it was super cool because it was dark outside and when it would light it looked so pretty!!! :) so that was really neat :) and then we went to the royers to pick up our laundry...and then we went home!

Tuesday we had a lesson with Linda and Arnez about prayer! We read in the gospel principles book, shared some cool personal experiences and had a really good discussion talking about their experiences with prayer :) It was awesome :) then we had lunch at our picnic park! and then we went and did service at Melanie's and ate pie and talked about the plan of salvation! We've finally been able to squeeze in some more gospel to our service when we go over so this week we counted her as a new investigator! :D then we came home and we were preparing for our lesson activity for district meeting... so we got assigned to do the activity this week for district meeting and then lesson was on teaching in unity with your companion...! So! here's what we did... we got out all the ingredients to make chocolate chip cookies...we put it out on the counter and then we didn't talk to each other the whole time we made cookies... well you see...we were hoping that the cookies would turn out really nasty... we didn't talk to each other and just put in all different amounts of ingredients... haha... so we bake the cookies and then taste them... and they weren't bad actually! hahaha shoot! so we sprinkled some more salt on them to make them a little more gross... they weren't the best cookies but they weren't bad...so that was kinda a problem for this object lesson.. haha! so for the next batch we put a little extra salt in... then! we made new dough to make the good cookies! we talked to each other and worked together to make them this time! So then i'm putting them on the cookie sheet and i eat some dough..then told sister welch to try it... it was a little salty... so i said uhhh how much salt did you put in here?!??! she calmly said "a tablespoon..." a tablespoon?! hahahahha it's only supposed to be a teaspoon!!!!!!!!!! bahahahaha! so there was some miscommunication there... haha she heard tablespoon...but clearly i said teaspoon... :) haha so then we baked those cookies and made a for reals good batch of normal cookies :D haha it was quite the process.... :)

So wednesday comes along...which means district meeting! we went to augusta again this week! So we did our lesson activity... we passed out the salty cookies but told them not to eat them... oh and all morning i was trying to figure out a way to make it an actual activity...not just all of us eating cookies... and then i was studying that morning and i remembered back to the good old days when we were doing a student government unity building activity and building towers but we weren't allowed to talk.... and so I grabbed some paper, tape, straws and decided that would work perfectly! :D haha so we did that with the district (see pics) :) and then we talked about how communication is so important and how we have to work together in unity! then we let them eat the cookies and told them about our experience and great learning opportunity we had baking cookies :) haha and then gave them the good cookies :) it turned out pretty well :) then after district meeting we drove to topsham!!! :D and we went on exchange!!! sister davis came here with me! and sister welch went to yarmouth with sister buxton!! Oh manny... exchanges were SO good! I love our sister training leaders!!! Pretty much sister davis and I just laughed our heads off the whole time :) haha it was pretty funny cuz we got home and had dinner and we were just laughing and then she was laughing and said "sweet, cute, little, innocent sister tait and then you find out she's so sarcastic and just so incredibly funny!" bahhahahaha! it was pretty funny...she didn't see it comin'! ;) haha :) we went and read the book of mormon with sister russell and then went to the youth activity! they were doing book of mormon clue!! it was really fun! we got to be leaders for one of the teams :)

Thursday we had a really good lesson with just Arnez about agency! We read 2 Nehpi 2 with her! She is really understanding the scriptures now! She thought that it was such a perfect chapter for her especially at this time with trying to quit coffee and smoking! She's almost there!! :) after that we went to Moody's Diner and had lunch :) and then we went to the food pantry!!! So much fun!!! oh and guess what I got??? An award of excellence!! :D haha Lou (the guy in charge) came and gave it to me and one for sister huefner! :) haha :)it was pretty funny :) they were so happy to have us back cuz it's been a while! we weren't able to go last time! Then we went back to topsham and exchanged back and while sister davis and I were waiting for our companions to get there we went into the church and guess who was there?! Sister Smith!! :D she was setting up for the stake women's conference so we got to talk to her for a bit! :) she said that brother eldredge is going to the temple soon!!!!!!!!!!!! He has cancer and is going through chemo right now so he doesn't know when he'll be able to go...but he's gonna make it!!!!!!!! :D i'm so excited for him!!!! :)

Friday was a great day :) oh ya know...just my 20th birthday!!!! :O crazy!!!!! so after comp study i got to open my presents!! :) that was so much fun!!! :) and then we did a little weekly planning... and then went to damariscotta, did mormon.org for a bit and then met the elders at round top ice cream! there were some members there from a different ward and they bought ice cream for all of us!!!!!! so nice!!!! :D and it was just a perfect beautiful warm sunshiny day!!!!!!! :D ahhhh!!! then we had dinner with linda and arnez!! they made tortilla soup :) delicious :) and we had cake :) and then it started raining... we got the best of both worlds that day!!! it was so perfect! then a double rainbow!!!!! :D and then we played book of mormon go fish and matching game and old maid and they loved it!!!!! it was a blast!!! :D then we came home and had cake with sister brooks :)

Then saturday we went with sister brooks and linda to topsham for the stake women's conference and the theme was "drop by drop" it was really awesome!!! linda loved it!! i loved it too :) i got to see lots of my peeps from topsham :D so that was fun :) oh and sister paradis eclairs... mmmmmm :) then we came home and did a little planning!

Sunday we went to church! linda had a migrane and couldn't come and we didn't think arnez would come either... but then surprise! Arnez did!!! so that was awesome!! :D Then we went to the dyers and taught the restoration to Andy (a recent convert that the elders were teaching but now we are) :) it went really well and then we went with the dyers and the elders to a Lutheran church for their first annual springspiration! we sang a bunch of hymns! we knew like 3 of them... haha it was great :) and then we had dinner with the Birds!! watched some awesome mormon messages with them! then went to the church and watched the CES devotional!!! and that was our week!!! pretty great!! :) I love you all so much!!! hope you have a wonderful week!! happy mother's day!!! ahhhhh!!! we get to skype this week!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D just a little excited... :)
