I cannot say the smallest part, So many emotions, So blessed, Everlasting beginnings, I love these people!, See you soon!!!

"I cannot say the smallest part which I feel." Alma 26:16...... and i'm pretty sure we could just leave it at that! haha.... oh manny...... so many different thought and feelings right now! But it's been a week just like any other week! and then just throwing in some curveballs at the end of it.... Transfer calls were on saturday....and we are all leaving!!!!! :O ahhhhhh!!! what the heck?! Well Sister Kotter and I are both headed home......unless we just decide to not get on the plane...we'll see how this goes... but Sister Duncan is getting transferred and elders are coming to Portsmouth! crazy!!! We just got here!!! ahhhhh!!

so it's been a weekend full of craziness and goodbyes...well see ya laters... :) my head is spinning and I can't even think of all that I wanted to tell you!! haha... but yeah pretty much it was a great week and we did all the usual things...food pantry, bingo, district meeting, visiting less actives, and trying to find more people to teach, member meals with wonderful people! :) ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

I just want to say how grateful I am for this wonderful crazy adventure!! I don't want to leave!!!! I have met so many amazing people and learned so many great things that I know will help me for the rest of my life! I am sooooooooooooooooo blessed!!!!!!!!! I know that this gospel is true and I am so grateful for the opportunity that I have had to be here in New England to serve the people here! I love these people!! Probably the greatest thing is just knowing that there are no true endings...only everlasting beginnings! It doesn't end here! I am so grateful for this gospel and for the amazing opportunity that I have had to share it with my brothers and sisters! I know that Heavenly Father is mindful of each of us, He sent His son Jesus Christ who understands all that we go through... and because of Him we can get through anything and we can become like Him. This is a gospel of change and I have seen it change and touch so many lives including my own! I am so grateful for the Atonement which allows us to change and to become better. I really cannot even express how grateful I am for all of the people who have gotten me to where I am. I know that my Savior has been with me every step of the way. He will never leave us. I know that the gospel has been restored and I am so grateful for that and for the knowledge that Heavenly Father hears our prayers and that He knows all of our needs and as we read the Book of Mormon we can receive guidance and answers to our prayers! I know that this is the way to truly find joy and happiness and I have felt so much joy in being able to share it with others! I cannot believe how fast it has gone..... ahhhhh i just cannot even tell you how amazing it has been and I am so grateful!!! That is about all I can say....I know this is true!!! I love this gospel!!!! :) this doesn't feel real at all....haha... but really i am just so grateful!!!!!! my joy is full :) I love you all so much and I guess I will see you soon!!!

See ya laters...love all these wonderful people

One last lobster dinner...love this beautiful place

Baptism, Food pantry, Great members, Oh Christmas Tree, Chopped liver, Being humble and teachable...

It's been a great week with some pretty exciting things! Last Monday we went to the Nubble Lighthouse with Sister Bateman and Sister Sumsion!

On Tuesday we went to the food pantry and then after that we did some studies and then during lunch we made some delicious cookies for the relief society cookie exchange! We had coordination and then went to the relief society acitvity and ate cookies and learned about discovering the hidden treasures of Isaiah! :)

We went to breakfast with Marsha and Helmar on Wednesday and then the food pantry! Oh we got to try chopped liver.... they brought it as a snack and everyone there was loving it and said we had to try it....haha it was not so great but at least now we can say we've had chopped liver! so gross...haha!

We had a great lesson with Steve on Thursday and watched a video with him about apostasy and the restoration and just talked about his baptism and how excited we all were! We went and saw Sister Bromfield and then after that we went and had a lesson with Richard and Kasi and Logan! We had dinner with them and then taught the plan of salvation! It went really well and they are reading the Book of Mormon together and had great questions! The cutest thing was little Logan he had been begging all week for his own Book of Mormon and so they asked if we might be able to give him one.... we handed him his very own and he was so excited!! It was adorable!

Friday was just a weird day... we had interviews...so we had our exit interviews! It doesn't even feel real! I'm pretty sure I'm in denial.... my thoughts are so scatterbrained right now...haha sorry!

But anyway... Saturday was so wonderful! We had Steve's baptism! Ahhhhhhh!! It was amazing! :) It was so great and I am just so grateful that I was able to be there for that! So cool that I got to be there the whole time from his first time at church to his decision to be baptized!! :) When Steve came up out of the water he said "that was awesome!" :) It really was so awesome! I could just feel the love and how proud Heavenly Father is of him for his decision! One thing that was kinda funny was when we were taking pictures one of the cameras circled Steve's face and said "infant" :) haha but Sister Gray talked about in her talk how we are supposed to become as little children and how Steve has done that and just how teachable he was and humble and prepared and willing to be obedient and follow the example of the Savior! I think it's so awesome how we are commanded to be as little children and I really liked the Christmas devotional last night how they talked so much about how the Savior came as a helpless baby, not with great power, and then look at what he became! It really is those small and simple things... Heavenly Father wants us all to be as little children and to continue on the path and learn and grow and become more like our Savior! I just love all of the wonderful messages and the Christmas season and the love that God has for each of us! We had our ward Christmas party right after the baptism so that was really fun!

Yesterday we had church and then we had dinner with the Smiths and went and saw the Christmas tree downtown in Portsmouth that they just lit up! and then we watched the devotional which was so good! So many wonderful things! I am so grateful for our Savior Jesus Christ and know that He is the light and the life of the world! I am grateful for his example and that we can all be able to become more like him each day and that He is the sure source of comfort, peace and joy! :) love you!!! have a great week!!!

He is the gift, Exchanges, Snowy & cold!, Great things happening, Time flies

Holy cow! I can't believe it's December!!! :) today feels like spring :D The sun is out and melting all the snow!!! :)

So last monday we went on exchanges! I went to Exeter with Sister Bateman and Sister Kotter and Sister Duncan stayed here with Sister Sumsion!

Tuesday we saw a less active sister and we just read the Book of Mormon with her, then we visited their investigator Stacy! We knocked on the door and no one answered....so we decided to leave a note on the door and then we were pulling out when she pulled in! It was a miracle! :) So glad that we decided to stop and write a quick sticky note which gave us just the right timing so that we wouldn't miss her! We had a good lesson with her about the word of wisdom! Then we spent some time getting the oil changed so that was exciting! haha there was one guy that talked to us he was wondering if we had ever seen the temple! He said he had visited Utah and saw the big temple there and just talked about how beautiful it was :) We didn't get to talk long but it was cool that he recognized us and connected that! We went and did mormon.org after and actually if you haven't checked out christmas.mormon.org yet you should :) There's a great video all about Christ and how He is the Gift! We're really focusing on sharing this with everyone and helping everyone to feel the Christmas spirit and remember the true meaning of Christmas!

Wednesday we had district meeting and talked all about Christ and how we can gain a testimony of Christ through reading the Book of Mormon as we turn to Him and rely on Him. I know that He understands each of us perfectly and can help us through hard times and can make all things possible. I am so grateful for the gift of our Savior that our Heavenly Father has given us and for the gift of the Atonement and how it enables us in our lives! Oh and right before district meeting Steve came and had his baptismal interview!!! So he is all set for saturday!! :D He is so excited! and we are so excited for him! :) after district meeting we went outside and it was snowing like crazy! ahhh! it's here! so cold...but at least it's pretty! we went a had district lunch and then we went and did bingo! after that we tried to see some less actives and then we had to head home because the roads were getting pretty bad... we were worried that we were going to get snowed in for thanksgiving! haha but luckily it stopped snowing during the night and the roads were plowed in time for us to get out!

We had a great thanksgiving spending time with a few different families! First we went to the Naval Shipyard with the Keeles and we had lunch with a bunch of the navy families on a barge! then we got to tour a submarine. It was really cool to see! sorry we weren't allowed to have cameras so you'll just have to use your imagination to picture us all in the submarine! :) It was fun! Then after that we went to the Verrills and we had hot chocolate and crumpets! :) and then on to our third meal of the day at the Curtis'! :) It was so fun spending time with all of these families! we'll probably be eating thanksgiving for the rest of the month...turkey for days... ;) haha!

Friday we did our weekly planning and then we saw Sister Bromfield and shared the He is the Gift video with her! Then we had dinner with the Reeves and had more turkey :)

Saturday was a great day....we got a new investigator! :) Kasi a less active in Exeter just moved to our area and she just recently started coming back to church with her little boy! She gave her husband a Book of Mormon and the exeter sisters gave him to us as a referral last week so we tried to call and set something up and then last week they came to church and we were able to set up a time! So we went and taught the restoration! It was really interesting because he really has no religious background. It's hard to imagine how people can live without even thinking there is a God... We really focused on how God is our loving Heavenly Father and how He sent His Son! and how the restoration blesses our lives and our families! It is really neat how the gospel is bringing this family together! He said he would read the introduction and the testimonies as we committed him and when we asked about baptism and if he came to know these things were true would he be baptized... he said that baptism is the easy part it's the testimony that he's not sure about... so we are going to continue to help him to gain a testimony and know for himself that these things are true :) It went well though and then they invited us to go to lunch with them! So that was fun to get to know them more! after that we went to the church and practiced a musical number with sister keele! It was a little last minute...haha but it ended up working out! I played the piano, then there was an organ descant so sister Duncan played that! and Sister Keele sang! It was Come Follow Me/I know that my Savior loves me and it was really pretty! :) I was a little worried since I had only practiced it that day and I kept making so many mistakes!! haha but then yesterday when we did it and it just all fell into place and all the mistakes I had been making just disappeared! It wasn't perfect but the spirit made up for that :) I'm so grateful for music and for the spirit that it brings! Church was good and then we had lunch with the Bilodeaus!

oh - this week I got a cool letter from...myself! haha :) 15 year old me! Five years ago in young womens we wrote little notes to ourselves about what we thought we would be doing in five years...and our leader said she would send them to us five years from them...oh manny! i can't believe how time has flown! and guess what.... I sure didn't think I would be here! haha never thought I would be on a mission.... but I am so grateful that I am! Can't believe how time flies and how things change....but I'm so grateful for it and I'm grateful for all these learning experiences.... :) I wish I had more time....ha time.... so much more I wish I could say... but it just goes so quickly!! but I hope you all have a great week! love you all!
