Today's the first day of transfer number 10.... weird!! This past one went by wicked fast! It just keeps happening!!! We've done so many fun things this week though! We went to the zoo, Vermont - Joseph Smith Memorial, sleepover with the sister training leaders, the beach, girls camp, transfer calls, new investigator.... oh manny... so many crazy adventures this week! Oh so I'm sure you're dying to know the news from transfer calls! Sister Fuller is getting transferred to Arizona... ;) she's going home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ahhhhhhhhh!!!! and then I'm of course staying here! surprise surprise! haha :) all I know is that i'm getting a junior companion but I have no idea who it's gonna be! It'll be a fun new adventure though!! :) I'm so glad I get to stay here in Portsmouth though!! Still loving it here!!! :D So at girls camp we got to go to the testimony meeting and the sun was just setting! One of the priesthood holders there closed the meeting and he said something really cool! He was talking about the sun and asked if we knew how long it took from the time the sun was touching the top of the trees to the time that it was down behind the trees so we couldn't see it anymore... 4 1/2 minutes... :O crazy right?! He related it to our youth and how it just goes so quickly! so of course in my head it just switched to mission... and it was just a really cool analogy thinking about how quickly it goes by!! You have to make the most out of every second! Just those 4 1/2 minutes! or 18 months!! :O ahhh! it just flies by and before you know it the sun is setting! anyway... I could go into this wayyyyy more... haha but I've got to get on with the rest of this week! :)
So Monday we spent pday with the sister training leaders :) We did emails and then met them at our apartment and then we went to the York zoo/amusement park!!! It was so much fun!! We saw all the animals!! lions, tigers, zebras, monkeys, kangaroos.... and then rode the rides!! we were probably the oldest ones there but just like little kids we thought it was the greatest thing ever and had so much fun!! :) haha! We were there for a while and then went to the mall and got sister brown's ears pierced!! :D and then we went to texas roadhouse for dinner! :) and then pday was over and our dinner appointment got cancelled so instead we went over to Mary's house, did our laundry and had FHE with her and Amanda! Mary is so awesome and had a great lesson prepared all about prophets! So that was super fun too! :) It was a great Monday!!!
Oh! So we've been trying to go to the memorial with Brenda for a while now and things just keep happening and we have to reschedule! She wanted to go last transfer before we were even here but it just wasn't working out! But finally we had it worked out that we were gonna go Tuesday and then again.. things came up and it wasn't going to work... so Brother Hafen called Brenda on Sunday and told her we couldn't go anymore... so Monday night we get a call from Brenda and then she said that she prayed about the church and then four minutes later bro hafen called and said we weren't gonna go to the memorial and so she thought that was a sign that she wasn't supposed to go because if God wanted her to go then He would make it happen! So she decided that was her sign that the church wasn't true! So she called to tell us that... so we told her we didn't think that was her sign...and asked if we could call her right back.. so we called bro hafen and then called sis keele and Sister Keele said she had to make some calls and might be able to work something out to take us... so we hung up the phone with her, said a prayer, then she called back and said she could take us!!!!!!!!!!! So we called Brenda back and said that we said a prayer and that someone could take us!!! God works in mysterious ways but did want her to go and so we told her that it was going to work out!! :) Ahhhh!! it was such a miracle!!! So Tuesday morning we went to the food pantry then sister keele picked us up, we went and got Brenda, and then we went to Vermont to the Joseph Smith birth place!! It was so cool!! She loved it!!! and she said she would pray again about the church :) haha! ahhhhhh!!! It was a crazy day!! We got home at 7 and rushed to a member meal at the Fox's! and they are just the cutest little couple ever!!! :)
Wednesday Marsha and Helmar decided to take us out to breakfast! so we did that and then went to the food pantry! then bingo got cancelled so they took us to the beach! haha :) and then we went home and our power was out :O but it was okay because we've been wanting to use our grill so we finally had the perfect time to do it!!! haha... it was a little crispy but still good! Our neighbor helped us figure out how to get it going and everything and then took our picture! haha :) then we called the zone leaders and told them our power had been out for two hours and asked if we could sleep at the sister training leaders and then just go to district meeting! and they said yes! ahhh!! haha!! best thing ever!!! so we went to coordination and bible study! then we went to Exeter and had a sleepover with sister brown and sister sowards!!!! :D haha...I won't even tell you what time we went to sleep... haha but we got up at 6:30, got ready and went to district meeting! :)
Thursday we went to district meeting! Last one with our district! Sister Fuller and Sister Brown are the only ones leaving us though! The rest are staying!! After lunch and pictures we went to Brenda's! She was disappointed that we didn't have time to get ice cream in Vermont...haha...so we walked to the store and she bought ice cream for all of us and we ate it as we walked back! We had her watch the Joseph Smith movie because we didn't have time to watch the long one when we were at the memorial and she so loved it!!! :) Then we had dinner with the Regans and then they took us to the beach and ice cream for sister fuller's last time!
Friday we did weekly planning! and then we had a lesson with Robert! Then we went and saw Larry! And then we went to Girl's Camp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ahhhhh!! It was so much fun!! It was just in Exeter at Zion's Camp so it was not too far away! just like a 30 minute drive! Their theme was so cute! It was "Let it Grow!" and they rewrote lyrics for the song let it go... from frozen... haha! it was awesome!! :) We got to have tin foil dinners with them and then go to the testimony meeting! It was so good! It's so different out here where the girls are the only ones in their schools that are members and just hearing how strong they are and they have to be and be that example to those around them! they were all saying how they loved that week being able to be surrounded by people who had the same beliefs as them! They're amazing!! There were even some nonmembers that came and got up and bore their testimonies! It was just so amazing!!! I love girls camp!!
Saturday we mostly just did packing stuff for sister fuller.... we went to the kills to get some of her laundry done so she could pack and then we helped sister kill coloring things for her primary sharing time :) and then we had dinner with the keeles!!! Love them!! :) then went home for transfer calls!!!!!!!!!!
Sunday we had church then a linger longer!! Then we taught Steve! the Gray's friend that has been coming three weeks in a row! Brother and sister gray and Brother Hafen were there and we taught the restoration and it went well and he seems really interested to learn more! We have a return appointment for Wednesday!! :) Then we came home, sister fuller finished packing! then we had dinner with the abaroa's! then we went to Mary's! And that was it! Crazy last week of the transfer!!! I really can't believe she's going home!!! Lots more crazy adventures to come!! wonder who my new companion will be!!! transfer meeting tomorrow!!!!!! ahhh!!! well I hope you all have a wonderful week!! Happy 4th of July!!!!!!!!! LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!! :D
